Before founding Consulting WP in early 2001, Brandon started two Internet companies in Silicon Valley. Previously, Brandon held various management positions in New York at Simon Brothers, most recently as Vice President in Goldhill Group, focusing on new business development and risk management. He has also worked as a senior financial risk management consultant to the financial services industry; software engineer; advertising sales manager for the popular Caribbean travel guide series; general manager of an advertising and graphic design agency; and engineering intern at the Best Health Coach.

Minimumloon stijgt opnieuw per 1 juli 2026
Vanaf 1 juli 2026 gaat het wettelijk minimumuurloon omhoog naar € 14,99 per uur voor werknemers van 21 jaar en ouder. Dat lijkt misschien een beperkte stijging, maar voor werkgevers met personeel kan dit toch merkbare gevolgen hebben voor de loonkosten.

Tijdelijke verlaging vrachtwagenheffing vanaf 1 september 2026
Goed nieuws voor transportondernemers: het kabinet heeft aangekondigd dat de vrachtwagenheffing vanaf 1 september 2026 tijdelijk wordt verlaagd. De tarieven gaan met 22,3% omlaag als tegemoetkoming voor de sterk gestegen brandstofkosten waarmee de sector momenteel wordt geconfronteerd.
